Ramadhan Buffets - Hyatt Tops the List!

2 August 2013

 *Invited*
One more week left of Ramadhan (fasting month), and you're probably already bored of thinking where to break fast every day. You've had enough of the busy bazaars, tired of trying to get to the warung early enough to secure a seat, and the traffic is just too crazy to get home in time after work to cook.

It's time for a treat!

I was invited to try out Hyatt Hotel's A Very Bandung Ramadhan buka puasa buffet, and the spread is amazing! From satay to keropok lekor, murtabak to ngiu chap, naan bread to burgers, and kuih to creme brulee, the variety is eye-popping.
What's more, guest chefs from Indonesia tickled our taste buds with the diverse flavour of Indonesian cuisine such as Empal Daging Sapi, Soto Bandung, Gulai Kambing and many more.

I love these 2 (childhood!) desserts/snacks:
Banana Fritters just waiting to become yummy!
 More desserts:

Charlotte and I had our very own little table for two, and these were our "starters" (a.k.a. what we took before getting our hands dirty filling our stomachs!)

The Bandung Ramadhan at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is available all through the fasting month.
Price: RM110++ per person between 6.00pm and 8.00pm and RM100 per person after 8.00pm.
Children pay half price.

For great feasts for Ramadhan, Raya or just any plain old day, call 088-221 234 for reservations. =)

Til next time,
Calista xx
